Who Am I?
My name is Lynne, and I run OptioVA. I have worked as an Office Manager, mainly in the legal sector, for the last 20 years. During that time I dealt with staff, IT, accounts, procurement, and making sure that the partners got to where they had to be on time. I have overseen mergers, administered firms' social media and been responsible for the submission of successful applications for industry awards. I have experience in the implementation of major IT projects, and the synchronisation of procedures across different offices and staff. I have dealt with a number of professional bodies and ensured compliance with their rules.
I understand that business people are at their best when they are using the skills that they have. My role is to give people the time to do this by using my skills, which are in administration and organisation. All of which is a fancy way of saying that I take the tasks that you do not have the time to do, and get them done. Think of me as your personal assistant - there to make your life easier, free up your time and help you get more out of life.
I am organised, reliable and resourceful. My experience in the legal sector means that you can be sure that I understand the need for confidentiality and professionalism. I am friendly and approachable, and the way that I work means that you have the flexibility of knowing that I will be there when you need me and won't be costing you money when you don't.
I can do most of my work virtually (the VA stands for Virtual Assistant), although I am happy to come to your office if that works better for you.
